My name is Cole and my favorite sport is baseball I chose this poem because it is just like the way I live in my life as a farmer. During this project I had to learn calligraphy and I think I learned in well enough so that it looks good on the writing. The border I chose is a baseball thread. Lastly we tea-stained it so it would look old.
Mike Trout, Trout By: Cole Olson I chose to do this fish because of Mike Trout being one of my favorite baseball players and his name is a fish. Also I chose to make it a rainbow trout because of the shoe brand he has and they are colored like a rainbow trout. Lastly I chose to this fish like everyone else instead of the cool looking one because it was to hard for me as it was my first time doing it. One of my problems was that I could not put my fish's sides together. So I had to take my time and blend it together. Another one of my problems was that I could not make the fish blow up. So when I made it I could not have air pockets in it. I am happy with my fish because the colors did not blend even though I painted over some of them. Also I am happy that I was able to have the tongue stay in one spot. Another one was that the color of the mouth was very cool. Lastly because of the way I was able to blend in the fins and tail all to to body. I improved my drawing when I used 1 point perspective. It looked like you could walk through it instead of 2d drawing like I use to do. I was able to draw the stairs with Mrs. Ruggles help and make it look like you could walk right up it.
